Research Log 113: I’ve never been afraid of death; What comes after is a different story. I’ve been face to face with my own mortality many times throughout my studies. Death itself must enjoy reminding me of the inevitability of his arrival. However, the hauntings and possessions that cause others fear and dread bring me an uneasy assurance that there is indeed something after Death’s brief visitation. I hope he's a kind guest.

Death, the thirteenth Major Arcana, symbolizes change, impermanence, and letting go. Mors XIII is a quiet reminder that Death comes for us all. Memento mori.
